In the Ngorongoro Crater very few animals migrate in and out due to its 2000 ft. high walls. The Ngorongoro Crater has the highest wild animal density in the world. This 3 days in the crater and in the lush Lake Manyara National Park will be full of overwhelming experiences of the wildlife.
Day 1: Lake Manyara
We will transport you to Lake Manyara by picking you up from Arusha. Remarkably beautiful, the park is tucked away at the foot of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. A variety of game species, including buffalo, elephants, giraffes, impalas, hippopotamuses, and, if you’re lucky, the renowned tree-climbing lions, are visible. Manyara Lake is an excellent bird refuge, home to large flocks of flamingos and a wide variety of water bird species. Spend the night at a Mto wa Mbu public campground. Dinner and a lunchbox will be provided.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater
You head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area after breakfast. Following your arrival, you make your way down into the crater for an amazing wildlife drive inside the UNESCO-designated Ngorongoro Crater, complete with a picnic lunch. With its 2000-foot-high walls preventing most creatures from migrating in and out, the Ngorongoro Crater contains the largest number of wild animals in the world. The species include jackals, antelopes, rhinos, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, flamingos, and other birds. The “Big Five” could be seen in a single day. Spend the night in Ngorongoro’s Simba Public Campsite. All meals will be served

Day 3: Ngorongoro – Arusha
Depending on the weather, you take a nature walk to the Ngorongoro Crater’s Northern Crater Rim in the morning after the morning mist has lifted, where you may see buffaloes, elephants, baboons, monkeys, and many bird species. Through deep wilderness, you follow animal routes escorted by a ranger or Maasai guide. After that, you go back to Arusha, arriving in the early afternoon. Lunchbox and breakfast included.
