Tanzania Destinations
A lodge safari or camping safari in Tanzania! In Tanzania you will not only find the highest mountain in Africa, Kilimanjaro, but this country also has the three largest African lakes. These three lakes are Lake Victoria in the northwest, Lake Nyasa in the south and Lake Tanganyika in the southwest. Although this country is less known than neighbouring Kenya, Tanzania has the largest concentrations of game in the world.
Tanzania is located in eastern Africa just below the equator. Zanzibar and Pemba are two idyllic islands and a wonderful escape for a few days of relaxation after your camping safari or lodge safari. The varied landscape of Tanzania consists of plateaus and valleys that alternate unexpectedly. Tanzania is the ideal destination for your lodge safari or camping safari.
Breathtaking game reserves and nature parks such as the very famous Serengeti National Park, the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, the Kilimanjaro National Park and in the south the more rugged parks Mikumi National Park, Ruaha National Park and Selous Game Reserve. But Tanzania has many more smaller and less visited parks. Many reserves in Tanzania are so large that you often feel like you are alone in the park.
A “Tanzania safari” can be made in different ways. You can choose from various safari trips by 4WD. Customizing lodge safaris or camping safaris is our speciality. In southern Tanzania in particular, we use small charter planes for most transfers during the lodge safaris.
